Burrow - Dream House

Two words: Dream House. The Burrow is a Disney short story film that tells of a young rabbit who is working hard to create her dream home. In the end it’s with the help of her community that she finally is able to create her dream home.

I really enjoyed this short Disney film. It is very relatable, as we all dream of creating a home that has everything we ever wanted in a home. Maybe your dream home isn’t as sophisticated or as planned out as some of your friends, but in the end a dream home is something unique to everyone. As the young rabbit burrows to try to create her dream home she accidentally digs into other people’s dream homes, offering a snapshot of how other people are living. The young rabbit accidentally digs into an underground water table flooding everyone’s homes, until a badger and the other neighbors work together to dig a passage to divert the water, forming a new spring. They all then work together to create the young rabbits dream home.
