I drew this picture for some of my followers on instagram who asked me to draw it because it was an important part of their childhood. Growing up in Korea, I saw that these characters were also popular.

In Korea we love to have picnic parties in spring with our best friends. We are particularly close to old friends and see them like extended family members. In a way our lives are much like Winnie’s, life is full of obstacles and we have to help each other out. Then when that’s all done we like to have ourself a little celebration together.
