I can imagine the desperate feeling of Jack and Rose, as the rises and the great ship sinks into the ocean. However I still think this is a beautiful and romantic scene of two people from very different backgrounds who have fallen in love. I remember that they could be together and happy at last but just for a very short time, and despite the circumstances it seemed worth it.

About Titanic:

Upon drawing this scene I realised that unlike most of my other drawings these characters were not in a happy situation. So originally I hesitated to finish drawing their faces. However it would not have been right to draw two big smiles on their faces, so I drew them with more appropriate facial expressions. I really enjoyed watching this bitter-sweet scene and realising that the movie is coming to its climax.
