I love this cute movie. In this movie, monsters are not that scary and quite friendly creatures to human beings. I colours used in the design of the monsters in the movie were also interesting choices as well as the movie's concept on a whole.

Monsters go to work scaring children to collect their screams which in their world is an energy source. On one of their missions they make friends with a human girl, named Boo and after saving her from being kidnapped by other monsters they find out that a child's laughter is ten-fold more powerful than their screams. The monster world then goes from scaring children to making them laugh.
