I originally stated drawing these pictures in a low point in my life. I felt life was a bit hard and sometimes cruel and even unjust. So I began to drawing as a means to cheer myself up. Eventually I thought to draw scenes that warmed my heart and made me happy again. When I draw all the bad things melt away, so for me it became a weekly routine and so did posting the drawings on my instagram account @ddasuhan_ (which in korean means “warm”. I felt it described the theme and purpose of my drawings, so whenever I look for something to draw next I ask myself if it makes my heart feel warm and I hope that’s what my drawings do for all of you. I hope they always remind of you of heart warming times and make you feel happy.
