Runcorn Ward to the Dowa Guide rescue.
After a while trying to get the Dowa Guide onto Brisbane retail shelves it's always a breath of fresh air to get some much needed support from your local Brisbane City Council ward office. Here in Runcorn, we have one of the best council ward officers in the city.
Today, Heidi, Henry and Fiona were the first to see and purchase the new Dowa Guide chapter 1 and 2 combo books. They further more received book to pass onto our local Council Representative Kim Marx and Lord Mayor Adrian who also features once in Chapter 5 and Chapter 6, and likely will make an appearance in Chapter 4 when the Dowa Guide goes to City hall. The Runcorn ward office scene will also feature in the story for Chapter 8 which covers bringing the Dowa Guide to the market. So something to look forward to. Fiona was also able to send off a copy of the Dowa Guide to the City's library office to see if it can make it's way to the local libraries for everyone to read. Fiona also made this Koala artwork on a decorated shell for me. So I was really surprised by that and can't wait for Brett to send it to me here in Korea.
