MEEDEN Korea Instant Watercolor Set Review: Scenes from Spirited Away
I received this ‘Instant Watercolor Set’ as a supporter of MEEDEN Korea! 🎨🧑🎨
I’ve been getting more interested in watercolor lately, so I was curious about this set. I especially thought it would be perfect to carry around.
It’s small enough to fit easily into a pouch, and since it comes with a water brush and a paper pad, it seems perfect for outdoor drawing without having to bring many other art supplies!
This time, I painted two drawings inspired by scenes from Spirited Away!
For the first one, I tried painting directly with watercolor without making a sketch, and for the second one, I sketched first and then added the colors. I think sketching first was definitely easier when I wanted to add more detailed expressions. :)
The palette comes with 24 colors, and I found the color selection really easy to work with and combine!
I especially love drawing bright and colorful illustrations, so I really liked the colors included in this set. 🎨✨
After trying them out, I also liked how bright and vivid the colors turned out, which worked really well for the kind of colorful drawings I like to make.
I also liked that it comes with a water brush, so it’s easy to use without having to bring a separate water container and brush. Next time, I’d love to take it outside and try some outdoor drawing with it! 🌿🎨
