A package arrives from CARAN D'ACHE

Today a package arrived to my Brisbane, Australia - Ddasuhan Studio location from one of my absolute favourite brands: CARAN D'ACHE. I had my manager there send me the photos. I'm currently in Korea, and can't wait to be back in Australia later this year to get my hands on these wonderful CARAN D'ACHE gifts that they have sent me. I will back in Brisbane later this year to publish Chapter 3 and 4 of the Keowa Koala Dowa Guide - Welcome to Brisbane series.
The parcel contained the return of the artworks that I sent to be displayed in the recent CARAN D'ACHE Platform 10 Espace Creatif NEOCOLOR II AQUARELLE Exhibition, celebrating 50 years of  CARAN D'ACHE NEOCOLOR II AQUARELLE.

That castle third from the left is the ddasuhan. So concluding the exhibition event, CARAN D'ACHE sent it back to me in this wonderfully large box.

I find it always more exciting getting large box parcels, feels like Christmas time when you get a big present (over a small present). Opening big presents is so much more fun and exciting.
Inside is a hand written letter on the back of this card:

it reads...

I'm going to frame this letter with the artwork in the very near future. CARAN D'ACHE is a great company with a big heart. I can really feel that they love art and they really support artists like a good parent, which really reminds me of my birthdays when my mother gifts me a set of CARAN D'ACHE pastels. Just like today!

I will have to draw something special with this set when I get back to Brisbane. CARAN D'ACHE have also gifted me a 849 refillable Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set. I have seen these advertised and I have wanted one. So this is huge surprise for me. These pens are metal and hexagon shaped for fine control and comfort, and it's in pink - my favourite color. It's a writing instrument of pure beauty.

I'm overwhelmed by these gifts from CARAN D'ACHE. I often receive many art supplies and instruments from a range of different producers and while many are good, CARAN D'ACHE really is in a professional league of its own. Such beautiful and quality products and supplies, I am so happy and proud to have been a part of celebrating 50 years of  CARAN D'ACHE NEOCOLOR II AQUARELLE and the CARAN D'ACHE Platform 10 Espace Creatif NEOCOLOR II AQUARELLE Exhibition.Â
I did reference it in the cover of my Chapter 7 Keowa Koala Dowa Guide:

You'll find Chapter 7 along with Chapters 1, 2, 5 and 6 around Brisbane City in the very near future at select retailers and venues, as well as now on Kindle via AMAZON.com.

I'm also featuring this CARAN D'ACHE event it into the story of Chapter 8, which will be the final chapter of the Welcome to Brisbane Dowa Guide series, before I continue season 2 in Seoul Korea.
Â
Thank you again CARAN D'ACHE for everything, this has been a really huge celebration in my life.
Â
Sincerely,
